Emily grew up with a creative knack and a designer's eye. She remembers styling her bedroom as a little girl (rearranging her furniture, organizing her shelves and closet) and "opening" her room for business (pop-up shop style), forcing her two younger sisters to buy her wares. A love for interior design, architecture and fine art grew, and it was no surprise when she landed in the Design Program at UC Davis. Her degree focused heavily on Visual Communication & Presentation, with a strong emphasis on curatorial and museum practices, exhibition design, and graphic art.
Her experience continued with an internship at Paper Magazine in NYC working at their underground art show, graphic design for the AAA affiliate of the Oakland A's Baseball team - The Sacramento RiverCats, visual merchandising and buying for a high-end clothing boutique, marketing for some of the top commercial real estate companies in San Francisco, starting her own freelance event design & styling business and ETSY shop, and co-founding a wedding and event collective in Wine Country - The Collection Event Studio. She considers San Francisco her home, and the SF Giants her team. When she's not working on a project, you will most likely find her cooking, baking or dining at one of the city's many great eats.
